NEW Driving/fog lights on my '02

you all know how GM's factory fog light on the front of the the 99-2002 Silverado's are bad for going though bulbs or even light assemblies or lens.

I got my o2 about 2 or 3 months ago and fog light as the factory called them were missing or broken so I started look for replacements. I want to change to LED were I can so I look for factory style led fog lights well there are some that are led or part way led but still not what I wanted.

I had got some 4" LED lights for my old truck that I ever got it so I put them on the bumper and I like them but they are to high up. but I like the light them put out so I started looking off something like them but in a 6" single rod the would fit were the factory light was.

here are some pictures showing what we started with and my new brackets and new lights.

I hope to get to install them tonight or may have to wait unlit this weekend. I will post some pictures went I get them installed.

That looks like it would work great! The brackets look like they will work well. Did you make them?

So far since I bought my 02 new I have gone through one set of replacement lights because the lens fell off each side.

Yes I make them .063" SS

we will see how they work once I get them installed may have to stiffen them up a little the light are heavier then I thought but they are metal not plastic.

I should be able to see a lot better now that I have the 4 hi mod. done also. which I did kinda like you Scottboy but used a relay so my wig-wag still works and I my low beams flash too.

I have them installed. I think they good great. can't wait for it to get dark.
