I will most likely go with a Magnaflow and if I do I will stick the resonator in. I'm not much on drone.

If you go with a longer one (I have a 22"), you probably won't even need the resonator. I've had people tell me mine is too quiet around town and that they can hardly hear it on the highway. Good. I also have people tell me it sounds like a "racecar" when I get on it.

I'm not a fan of loud crackly exhaust, I left that in high school.

Stop flopping your 6.0 out on the table, Scott.

I Love my magnaflow but wouldn't mind a resonator with no cats being it's a little raspy from 1600-2100rpm. I wouldn't go with bigger than a 18" case though or it will be real loud. Texas speed performance sells y-pipes with cats that are direct bolt up just a little high in price.

Cats, extend the pigtails and make it LOOK legit. Leave them turned off in the tune. My $0.02

My 6.7 has zero drone and a little whistle now and then. :stir:

5.3 has zero drone

That being the point of my question

Oh, I knew, I was just joking. You and I went through this years ago!

It was for the peanut gallery.

I would have loved to have not bought that resonator and the labor to have it welded in.

That trip to AK with the load I had would have been brutal.

The system is a nice purple color from that trip, so, at least there's that :jester:

The longer the case on a Magnaflow, the quieter it'll be. I originally had a round 14", it had some drone. I went to the 22" 5x11" case and it doesn't drone. I don't have a 6.0, yet. Once the 5.3 gives up (in ~100k miles I hope) I will.
