Am I the only one who thinks Speed selling out to Fox has ruined television for us auto racing nuts?

Having to search all over for coverage, no replays, and no nightly racing news programming sucks.

Maybe I'll start watching Duckkingdom or whatever it's called.

No. My dad is still pissed about it. Fox owned Speed and just wanted to have their own ESPN. So instead of having a niche to themselves they dropped it to do a blatant ripoff if an already popular and well established sports channel.

ESPN has become TMZ and I'm all for anyone who can produce a show that is more like ESPN used to be. The chances of that actually happening though are pretty slim.

Speed had pretty much gone to hell anyway. "Reality" garbage shows and NASCAR was about all that was there anymore.

I do miss the F1 coverage.

Gearz will be back on another network, I can't remember the name but I got an email a while ago about it. Truck U I believe moved to GAC but I have no idea what happened to 2 guys garage. The only reason I wanted to get paid tv again was so I could watch Speed. Now it aint worth it anymore. Velocity should have picked up all the good shows. If you guys know where we can watch the off road racing let me know.

I'm actually surprised at how much I miss Speed, it went way downhill after it stopped being Speedvision, but I didn't really notice how often I'd tune in to Trackside on a Sunday morning.

Fox Sports needs to give a little more coverage to motorsports, there's plenty of stick and ball coverage already.
