Biofuels May Be Worse For The Environment Than Fossil Fuels

The reason for the change is that more research has revealed that biofuel production is actually turning out to have a worse carbon footprint than conventional fossil fuels, as the farming releases more carbon into the atmosphere and the increased need for cropland is destroying forests, which scrub the air much better than agricultural crops.

Uh-oh.

Surprise. I'm a dumbass kid and I've been saying this for years. Ethanol encourages bad farming practices and makes food cost more. Growing a bushel of corn takes 700gal of water. It's a shame the gov't would make food more expensive to push an agenda.....

Jim, you can have that, you just get to pay a lot more for it. Isn't that nice? :D2

As far as I can find out, there is "ONE" station in the entire DFW Metroplex that sells it.
It is close to a race track and sells it as "Racing Fuel" and yes it is VERY expensive.
Almost 6 bucks a gallon.
The only other place to get it around here is at private airports... also expensive.

I can go out of town on a trip, and can sometimes find it while traveling. Then it is just a few cents more than the crap gas.
When available, that is all I will run.

I have several locations around here where I can get it as "Recreational" fuel for about $0.40 more. I buy it almost exclusively and run it in everything I own. I am looking at getting a 100 gallon tank for the house though to avoid having to haul so many gas cans around, especially now, with the Teryx. I'm hoping I can find someone to bring me the same fuel to that.
