Alright boys.... I need advice... what brand converter have you guys used with success?

I am trying to keep cost down.. the truck is staying stock for the moment.. so I need nothing special.. just reliable to get me around for a little while before I make the decision to keep or sell the truck after I am into my house and all bills are figured out ect.

I have come across these... any suggestions?

They are very good... but are also $500 +. I dont need anything extreme like that hahahah.

We have a Yank 3k on order for the 6.0 but just had the local Trans dude build a 2400 for $185. Is there a local rebuilder that can set you up?

I will check into that. might be the best option. How long did it take them to do?

JW Transmission is just down the road.

It was included in the rebuild my kid is having done so I am not sure. The whole job took a week

I would think a local shop can supply what you need. Your not doing anything special to the trans so a simple converter would work well I would imagine.

If you are not doing any crazy performance upgrades, just stick the stocker in it.
