What do you'll think is the best performance mod? I'm wanting to add some more power to the 09 sierra. Been looking at the magnacharger that adds 120hp or just doing a cam. :dunno:. IDK what would be the best route. As far as money I feel S/C would cost more but not sure including cam install. What do you guy think is a better route to go -Benefits/cons? :tmc:

I would think the S/C. I think you need to add more than just a cam to get the real benefits, like gears, stall converter and headers + intake.

Yea I have the headers on I'd add gears, and stall if I did the cam. and proably beef up the 4 speed

Price some heads to go along with the cam if your thinking about a bigger cam.

6.2 swap. /thread

That's a actually really good advice! A tuned 6.2 will make close to the same power as a 5.3 with a Maggie. Probably would cost about the same or maybe even less. Then you could cam it and eventually stick a blower on it and have a beast.

Your question is much too vague without giving some goals and a budget. Have you price a Maggie? The cost of a cam swap and a Maggie are not even in the same league.
