Silverado SS!!!

Hey... question for the BB folks and other performance truck peeps.

I wont lie... been looking for an unmolested low mileage silvy ss for a few months now. I am having a personal battle.... which to go with... AWD or 2wd? I have heard some swear by each... it will be my daily driver... and if taken to the track will get drag radials for the passes.

So with that being said... I know Jenna you guys have plenty of experience with the SS.

Thoughts?

My vote is for AWD. While getting the rear loose can be fun, it's awesome when you can gun it and turn without having to worry about swinging the rear end around and just taking off with no fuss.

Yeah and that sounds awesome... but heard some guys complaining about their front ends making noises after passes and truck being heavier so it takes a little more power away!!

I am torn.

Less power will get to the wheels, but more will get to the ground.

2WD is quicker and a lot less expensive to keep alive - plus it will get a little better MPG - and you don't live in the land of snow or ice.
