I'm waiting for a split rear window kit to come out.
 I appreciate the sarcasm there. I do think the customary round lights should have been kept, but I am all for the edgy new design. It's still very recognizable as a Vette.

I'm just glad they have lost the huge ass of the C5 forever.

Wouldn't be that hard to redirect the venting through the black lower section and keep the clean look of the round lights. BIG improvement in the rear end of the car if you ask me.

Agreed. That channel that runs between the two rear sections could be perforated and used as the vent.

Now, if we can only convince them to paint the fucking roof panel to tie the look together up there as opposed to that clusterfuck that's going on now. It's apparently sacrilege to cover up carbon fiber because you just have to show it off, but it would look a thousand times better.

I already came out with that. I'm selling it for only $2,450.

That's what should come from the factory, not as an aftermarket way to blow more money from Corvette buyers.

This is the new, edgy corvette and the lights needed updated. If you want a fucking C6 get a C6. I just haven't quite gotten used to the big back panel under the lights or the color and shape of the vents on around the lights. I understand they're functional, just think they could have integrated them better. The lights themselves are sweet!

You'd argue with a statue. :D

The round tail lights have been a trademark Corvette item since 1962. They are an instant defining item when you see a Vette. I don't think that compares to flippy floppy headlights... I did hate the flattened round lights on the original ZR1
