I'm a little surprised. Seems like I see more Stangs on the road around here :dunno:

It seems to be a pretty even mix here. You also have to take into account how many people possibly bought used Mustangs. I know about 10 people that have 09-12 Mustangs and only 2 of them bought brand new. You see plenty of new used Stangs on lots around here. Its like people buy em and either realize it's not the car for them or their wife kicks their asses and makes them sell em  I'm considering a 2012 GT and I don't think I'll buy new if I decide to pull the trigger, honestly.

Look into some different discount programs. I was able to use the the FORD X plan, this along with rebates and model year close out we got nearly $4500 off our Mustang purchase. Check with other family members and see if they qualify and can pass a saving certificate on to you. Combined with credit union financing for "new" vehicle purchases only we were able to buy a brand new car for just a little more than used (about 1K) and had a close to equal payment and term with less out of pocket $$$.

If your in the market for the Camaro I would look into the GM supplier discount program to see if you or a family member can get it and pass on savings to you.

Just noticed you have an F10 in your sig....ask about a loyalty program discount also. You may not see any of this stuff advertised but if you ask they just might do something. New car sales are not entirely about $$$ and somewhat about volume....used car sales are about purely about profit if your shopping at the "new" car dealer that is.

Mustangs are more highly subsidized in your area. :jester:

Especially the special order ones in John Deere green and yellow.... :jester:
