Hell... I kinda like the whole thing... "INCLUDING" the z71 insert in the grill...
If I was in the market... the Sierra would probably be the first thing I looked at.
Probably in the Denali trim level...

Like agree that it looks more like a refresh to me, and I'm not sure about that "round peg in a square hole look" I'll have to see one in person.:lurk:

I'll just keep my 08 for now. Even if I did like them a lot it wouldn't prudent to get one, the wife would have a melt down ....got to get the boy through College.

Tell him to get a job! Joe needs a new truck! :rollin: :jester:

The boy is working two jobs as a matter of fact and going to school but he don't get paid MUCH :uhoh:...but at least he's working.

The 400-800 was about as similar to the 900-whatever this is called. Similar overall silhouette, just mainly detail changes, even though it's a complete redesign.

I like that they've put a body line on this one, but the square fenders and headlights on both are icky. Why the chrome trim on the Chevy headlights?!

Same overall silhouette? Really? You mean, cab, bed and wheels?

I fWONked up the phrasing of that a bit, I was on my phone.

I meant the 400 and 800 were about as similar to each other as this new one is to the 900.

400 and 800 had similar proportions, not super boxy and tall. The 800 is just more rounded overall.

The 900 got much taller and boxier, with a much taller front end. This new truck has a similar silhouette.

To me, this new generation looks about as much like the 900 as the 800 did to the 400. Lots of styling cues carried over.

The steering wheel is off-center, just like in the 900s.

How often does one touch the headlight knob? I don't know if the knob on the Jeep has ever been on anything but auto. :dunno:

All the outlets are a nice touch

Also, I don't see the resemblance other than there's vents on the sides and a screen in the middle. :dunce:

I still think thee last two are more like each other than the 400-800 combo.

We went from the boxy 400 to the more bulbous 800, then back to a very boxy 900. Now we've just gone from the very boxy 900 to the new GMT-UltraSuperBoxyBox2000.

Of course, this is all without seeing one in person so it's kind of a pointless argument but at least I got the last word, for now. :D2
