I burn Chevron, supposedly the Techron is good for cleaning internals.

Also, started cleaning the carpets with a Bissell Spot Bot portable machine. The rear storage area came out pretty good, now I need to do the passenger compartment :(

I should probably check the air filter. I need to put some fuel system cleaner in it before I fill it up. Then go drive the hell out of it.

I have almost 125,000 on mine... never used any type of cleaner.
Maybe I should...:dunno:

I usually put some in every three months. I can tell a difference, or I wouldn't do it.

Maybe I will try it... :)
You run premium...so you might not notice anything. :dunno:
I run 87, and I think that is why I can tell a difference when I use it.

WOW

 I'd say it's a little excessive
On the bright side, you can just change the filter every 3000 miles.

It does look very clean at 3K, and the DIC says 56% oil life remaining:thumbs:

Gotta look at the positive side of things. I do think when I get this resolved, I may go fully synthetic. Has anyone here ever heard of Amsoil?:jester:

There might be someone around here somewhere that knows a little bit about it... :dunno:
I'll try to remember who it is...

Drained, and flushed the radiator. Also went ahead and did an oil change.
