Put it up for sale.

:ohnoes:.... why ??

Want a pickup again but also looking for a car to drive back and forth to work. That thing cost WAY to much to fill and gets -12 mpg. So plan is sell it, get a car with the money from it and start looking for a truck later on.

Hate to see you sell it, but that sounds like a good plan...

You gotta do what's best for you & your family. We'll be waiting on a new ''looking for a truck'' thread

It's not a truck Lee, but.......

Picked up a 2000 Blazer 4x4 auto. :D Runs great :), but barely moves :(. Basically, it moves in 1 and R, but as soon as there's any heat in the trans, it completely dies. Luckily, it worked lone enough to get it on the dolly. Threw $10 of gas in it and let it idle the whole hour home (figured it was worth it in case the trans was still good).

Obviously, it's the same red, but it is also the gray interior that I have. Unfortunately, I really can't use any interior parts. I already replaced my dash, and the reclining handles on the seats are broke. My buddy wanted a factory CD player, but the guy didn't have it. I'll be taking the driver's door (mine has holes in it for an extra trim piece below the body line like the Trailblazer/Bravada had), possibly the driver's door panel, the grill and lights (I already have projector headlights and turn signals with amber corners too), and maybe some other stuff (the engine if I part it out).

I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet. I'm either going to part it out and scrap the rest, fix the trans and drive/sell it, or demo it. I'd really like to fix the trans to learn how to and have a test-bed to test it on, then possibly still part it out and/or sell it. I probably won't demo it just because I'd rather see if anyone is interested in any parts.

It's basically going to sit for the winter and wait until spring. I'm going to try to drop the pan and refill it tomorrow just to see if it does anything (probably not, but it'll only cost $10 to do), but it's suppose to snow tomorrow so we'll see if it happens.

It really acts like the fluid exists the pump, then after it sits for only a couple minutes, it moves again. Any thoughts or ideas?

Took the roof rack off the Blazer. It's a pain to brush around these things!!!! I put the bolts back in so hopefully it'll be alright. Wanted to take the trans pan off, but it's snowing. :( I like snow, but now I have something to tinker on and can't. Plus, I'm waiting on a starter for my motorcycle that isn't supposed to be her until Tuesday and it isn't in storage yet. Hopefully the snow is gone soon so I can ride it 20mi to storage.

Tried putting mud flaps on the ZR2, but they don't fit (they're the perfect width, but nothing to mount to). :( Apparently with the flares, there isn't a continual lip to attach to, just a bracket where the screws are for the lower portion. Gonna have to either make custom rubber ones (won't look the best, but I'll make them block everything and extend up to where the wheel well is) or buy the Husky Liners ones that are designed for the ZR2.
