I disagree with Gordon getting punished and not Bowyer. Nascar isnt policeing the good enough. I think nascar is playing favorites again.

You need to quit huffin' paint fumes, Dave.

If they were playing favorites, they wouldn't have penalized a former series champion!

I think he drank the damn kerosene instead of putting it in that heater of his.

Bumpin and bangin is a hell of a lot different than waiting for someone to come around and then intentionally wreck them and 2 other racers.

I'm surprised there was no fine or "slap on the wrist" for BK's "that's fWONking buillshit" rant in the media center after the race. :rollin:

I saw that...there were sure a bunch of fucking bleeps in that one....

So, I have to ask. Why was only Brad and Gordon punished? How come Bowyer wasn't handed down any fines or probation? I haven't followed Nascar for a while, so I'm out of the loop so to speak.

Gordon because he intentionally wrecked Bowyer.

Keselowski because he had a cellphone in his car (which was OK at Daytona, when it drew a bunch of media attention for NASCAR, but apparently it's not ok now.. :dunno:).

I think Bowyer didn't get fined or penalized because what he did (on track) was viewed as a "racing deal" and Gordon over-reacted to it.. Him running straight from pit road to Gordon's hauler, though, hopefully they at least "talked to him" about that.. The only thing that saved him from some sort of penalty there was an official getting in his way and keeping him from going inside..

Was Gordon right to be po'd? Yeah, probably so.. But, Bowyer was still mathematically in the hunt before the wreck. Now, even if Brad and Jimmie don't even RACE this week, Bowyer still couldn't win the championship.. In that regard, I think what Gordon did was pretty shitty.. :(

Thanks for letting me know. I was confused about what was going on.
