Ford SVT Raptor, or Dodge Ram Power Wagon?

I will be purchasing a new pickup truck about next April, so I have plenty of time to make a decision, but it is a difficult decision. I have narrowed it down to either a 2010 Ford SVT Raptor with the 6.2, or a 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 Power Wagon. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Ford: Pros: It can go fast off road. I'm a speed freak, and have been a desert racer for 35 years on dirt bikes, ATVs, and UTVs. Having a truck that can cross the desert with more speed than a standard pickup definitely has its appeal.
Cons: A friend of mine is the editor of an off road magazine, and when he spoke to the Ford engineers about the Raptor he was told the Raptor is not meant to tow anything. It is rated to tow 6000 lbs, but even minimal tongue weight will make its rear suspension squat big time. He was told to just not plan on towing anything with a Raptor.

Dodge: Pros: I'm a Dodge fan, and I would get to park a black Power Wagon next to my black 1st edition Dodge Challenger in the garage. Hell, for that matter, I could tow the Challenger on a trailer with the Power Wagon. I like the front and rear lockers, and I like the electronic disconnect sway bar, and the 12,000 lb Warn winch, and the 4.56 gears. I even like the looks of the 2010 Ram HD.
Cons: It can't go fast off road, and I'm a speed freak. I could always use it to haul my dirt bike and race quad though, and they are fast.

Price: Pretty much equal I'm thinking. The Power Wagon has an MSRP that is a few thousand dollars more than the Raptor, but the Raptor will not be discounted as much by dealers, so the bottom line price is going to be at least as much.

So which one would you get, and why?

Thanks.

personally the dodge would be of more use. a guy i know has one, it gets less than 10mpg, its one of the early ones so it may have a 5.9l gasser, but with 4:56 gears, calculating gas mileage may not be worth your time. :D

that ford is really just a toy.

I bet the Dodge is going to be a lot tougher truck. Just a feeling.

+1 on the Power Wagon. That's just a badass truck and I'm amazed you don't see more of them.

Power Wagon if you want something any bit utilitarian. The Raptor looks to just be a toy, and an expensive one at that.

EDIT: Forget that. Swap a Cummins into a Power Wagon and tow a Raptor with it. :D

I did actually stop and see two Raptors yesterday at a dealer. The Orange one was sweet. It didn't have any of those gruesome stickers that the pics of the promo truck has. It was NICE!

Like this but without stickers.

You betcha
Or you get a fully loaded 6.2L sierra and dust them both (on road), and still tow 10,000lbs in luxury.
