Brian. That is definitely a bad few days you've been having there. :(

My condolences to you and your family on your uncle passing so suddenly. Then more for your Mom's dog passing. It's hard when they've been part of the family for that long.

Did the vet say what they think is wrong with Koda? But good thoughts to him.

I would have to say, I did notice that a few photos were in the mirror but I wasn't paying attention to the brand of each device...

Damn! Brian that sucks. I lost both of my big dogs this year. It was as hard as losing a family member.

I've been in and out of some vets and I guess the ones we have here suck. Can't find anything on X-ray but Koda has been puking red and dark blood and dark blood in stool. I've read that it could just be a really bad flu and it suggests to eliminate food and water for the intestines to heal but I'm can't eliminate water if he goes to it.

He actually hasn't puked blood for 2 days and yesterday the one or two times he puked it was more like bile than anything else, like green/yellow. He still has dark runs in his stool as of earlier today like blood.

I tell you what, 3 mornings ago he threw up red blood all over the floor, we were heart broken.

Today he seemed to be improved. He did scarf one of my sons pancakes which scared us too death. Would hate h to eat something that might cause him pain/vomiting.

My wife even made him a rice bowl with beef stock. He at this point seems improved and is hanging out with the family like normal.

All I want to know is if someone could tell me if he'll make it or if he is suffering and no chance of getting better. The last thing I want to do is nurture a "dieing" dog that is in intolerable pain and I will tell he's, not there right now! I know what he has gone through thus far was miserable but if he was in pain, we would know
I've been telling him that if he pulls through, I will treat him better than ever. I hate you lost yours! Um not ready as Koda is only 6 years old.
