so as most of you know iv completed my boltons a while ago
its time for a new power mod.
some may saw my thread on PT.net but i didnt wanna post anything here untill im 100% sure that im going through the swap
so the truck is for the ppl that dont know:

2009 GMC SIERRA 1500 CREWCAB 5.3 6L80E 4X4 3.42

CURRENT MODS:
AIRAID cold air intake
OBX SS 304 longtube headers
custom exhaust 3" inlet magnaflow muffler 2.5 outlets to 3" dual pipes
xtremeperformance AUTOLITE sparkplugs ( i recomend those over anything on the market)
Tru Cool Max 40k ATF cooler

those were the power mods
the cam i asked for was a DD + weekend warrior:lol: + and dune climer:gunguy:

contacted Patrick G for a custom grind recommendations and future plans wich have a 3000-3200 CircleD in them.

here is what he spec'ed me

Cam recommendation: 2009 Sierra 4x4 w/stock 5.3L short block, stock 243 heads, stock truck intake, A6 with future 3000 stall, 3.42 gear, 1 3/4” long tube headers with no cats, 6400 rpm shift points, 6600 rpm rev limiter.
219/222 .607”/.602” 111LSA +4 advance (with 1.7 ratio rockers)

Recommended pushrod length: 7.425” chrome moly with stock rockers, lifters.
Recommended valve springs: PAC 1518 beehive or TEA .660" duals.
Static/Dynamic compression with new cam: 10.0:1 SCR, 8.19:1 DCR.

melling 100296 high voulume oil pump : 129.99
TSP 7.425 chromemoly pushrods : 112.00
ARP crank,heads,cam bolts all for arround : 160$
custom grind cam : 374.99
patriot 8501 dual .660" valvesprings :275$

LS1 chain dampener 12588670: 11$
new stock/LS2 timing chain 12586482 = 54.59$
CAM sprocket 12586481 = ~15-20$
LS7 LIFTERS 12499225 = 140$
Lifter Trays x 4 12595365 = 32$
LS2 VALLEY COVER 12570471 = 140$
MLS head gaskets GM 12589226 =30$
Water pump gaskets GM 12588372 = 6$
Front oil seal GM 12585673 = 20$

Prices will be updated ones the part is bought

the cam,prods,oil pump will be orderd from TEXAS SPEED.

other parts will be ordered from different places

Would like to hear the difference. From what you currently have it sounds like its loud :lol:

Specs sound right on, I know the cam Pat G spec'd for my truck is great.

Any particular reason you're changing the oil pump?

Peace of mind I suppose. I run that pump (melling 100296 w/high volume spring), but that's only because the AWD pan starves the sump.
