Wiper Arm Removal GMT-800.

[Moeman]

1.The Tools

2.Removing the washer tube and cap.

3.Loosen the 13mm nut to the top of the wiper post.

4.Install the puller over the wiper arm.(A puller can be purchased at any automotive outlet.)

5.Tighten the puller,if it doesn't release yoo will have to grab the arm at the split and pull up/down as seen here.

6.Wiper comes off the stud.

7.When your done reinstall arm.If your wondering where the origional position was just look at your windshield,their is a mark on it for relocation.

Line the wiper blade with the mark and tighten the nut.Reinatall washer hose and cap.

Your done.

FYI..This does not work for the GMT-400 or 900 trucks.

Oh there's a puller to get those off?

I guess that explains why it was such a pain in the ass when I did it last winter...

yea on GMT-400's its very easy..

you just need a flat head screwdriver, and you pry out a little tab and they come right off, in under 10 seconds lol

I pull my wipers off, just for the clean look of it... when the weather changes I just bolt them back on and go.
