my express van right now has manual everything (including air con aka the window) i want to convert the regulator to power and from what I am seeing OEM replacement is $200+
the gear drive system from autoloc or spar is not an option because of the plastic gear that connects to the splined shaft
now looking at some images online the power regulator and the manual regulator look identical and looking further the replacement motors for the power versions look like they use a splined connection to fit inside the regulator
here's what i am talking about in regards for the motor
i haven't done a conversion like this before (usually replace the complete regulator) but if it can save me some scratch then it would be worth to do
anyone have done something like this?
