Don't know if you guys are able to do the same thing (not sure how much room is behind your seats), but a lot of F150 owners mount their on the back wall. Lots of space and breathing room. Most guys just mount the amp and whatever else (crossovers, etc) to a board and mount the board on the wall with self-tapping screws.

I'm thinking about upgrading my audio system in a few days and am going to relocate my amp back here instead of under the rear seats. Great theft prevention.

I'm thinking of stealth mounting my amps...

I wanna find a whooping 8" sub that'll perform like my 10" Type-S... So I can have a smaller sub box, and more cargo space, lol

i HATED the fuckin type-s shallow 10" sub from alpine... had 2 of em blow, but i had a too powerful of an amp for it. not enough bump for me.

for a custom made box try subthump.com

Type-S's aren't made for tons of power. I'm not surprised.

i know, but it was the only sub that i thought would fit in my small subthump box, but then i got a JL so it worked out perfectly cuz the JL Bumps.

JL's are NICE.... But even the high end JL's don't seem to match the SQ of my Type-S... WAY louder... but not as good sound reproduction.

Cleaned up, and BUMPED.

I know some of you have added to your systems, so let's see some of the progress!

We haven't had a lot of stereo/system action on the site lately
