Good looking old Ford Tobias.
Thanks! Looked long and hard for a white, low-mileage, 4x4 manual. It’s like finding a hot lesbian or Bigfoot. You reallllly have to look.

It’s got great bones. It has a few small issues but mostly, it’s in great shape.

The first owner bought it in 97 and put 39K on it. The second owner, the guy I bought it from, used it at his mold and die shop as a local-only delivery truck. It racked up only about 2300 miles/yr for 25 years.

He was selling it because no one they hire can drive a manual anymore.

It's amazing the number of people who can't drive a stick. I learned how to do that when I was 12.

Yep. In my 32 years with a license, I bet 5 have been without a manual somewhere in the fleet.

You guys probably don't remember this, but somewhere on this board there is the very old thread where I posted about teaching my son to drive a stick, and buying him his first vehicles with a stick.

Just recently he thanked me again for having taught him how to drive a stick, and how it has presented random opportunities for him to help at work, and with friends since then.

NONE of his friends, and few of the people in his orbit at work can operate one.
