Which do like dvd or blu ray?

Right now, I prefer to buy "new" movies in the 2 (DVD & BluRay) or 3 (DVD, BluRay, Digital Copy but I never use that one anyways) disc combo pack. The new movies I want to have on BluRay for the special effects and stuff. Older stuff (that was never intended to come out on BluRay) I just buy on DVD. The majority of the time, the 3-disc packs are the same price or a couple dollars more than just the DVD alone.

We're still at the point where DVD is more common in every household than BluRay is. So if I want to watch movies at someone else's house, I have to take my BluRay player with me.

I like the price of DVDs, but the picture quality of blu-rays. I still have way more DVDs Than blu-rays, but that will change eventually.

Mostly DVDs but it doesn't really matter to me.

Just like DVD's replaced VHS, Blu-Ray will replace DVD, and the cycle will continue.


I do miss VHS for recording TV shows. I just haven't gotten into DVR's yet.

I just got PS3 off ebay for $160 it the 80GB. So gonna start buying the cheap old blu rays that been out for awhile.

Actually, I forgot about that, but shows aren't always put online right away. For instance USA was waiting 30 days after the second episode of shows to release the third. Plus then, you always have to be on a PC to watch them, or I guess have one of those super fancy TV's that can stream live from the web/Netflix/Hulu.
