8 years? In your climate, that is impressive. Did you go back with the same brand? Crazy how expensive they are now. I always just get Walmart's best battery. Good warranty and price and Walmart is everywhere.

I was told it's more or less the same. They were both Autozone's Duralast. The one I replaced was a duralast pro power platinum and the one I bought was their platinum agm battery. I was told that the propower battery was sold to companies with fleet trucks. The dang thing was $278 and some change after taxes.
The last time I bought a battery it was $120.

I just ordered some fresh oil for it from Amsoil. The damn shits getting expensive.

What did I do to it today? Yesterday, I installed a BakFlip MX4 cover, and today I will change the oil.

I now have to use the 0w40 since the "recall" Got some from Nick.

Looks like I am headed back north, so I wanted to get the oil changed before I head out!
