    Speaking of oil change, I need to take a sample on my silverado. Have not driven it since Tuesday. Just not putting the miles on as I once was.

    I just ordered a case of OE, 2 Wix filters and a couple of bottles of PI for mine. Stuff went up...lol!

    Nice! Yes, unfortunately prices have gone up as does the materials to make it. I just hope it stays where it is at for a while.

    I got the 0442 code on my truck, so I replaced the evap purge valve and cleared the code.

    Nice troubleshooting. Hopefully that was it. Do you have E85 up there? If so as summer comes around, try mixing in 5 gallons to a full tank. I've been mixing it for years and have been getting good results on my used oil analysis. Plus it is a great fuel system cleaner and the truck will love the added octane.

    I think the purge valve was the problem. I put 100 miles on the truck yesterday and the code didn't come back. As far as E85, it's around here, but my truck isn't flex fuel. I'll just stick to running regular 87 and put a bottle of PI in it just before I plan on changing the oil.
