Volvo To Announce V8 Supercar Program Soon...? According to Australian racing outlet Speedcafe, the program will be an evolution of the current Fujitsu Team GRM program run by Garry Rogers, with both Holdens becoming GRM-built Volvo S60s for the 2014 season. Both Volvo and Rogers himself have already refuted these rumors, but it seems that since their comments have been made further sources have come out to say that such a program is happening, and that the announcement may take place on the 17th of June.
Ford is pulling out of the series (the Falcon is going out of production). Rumor has it that Toyota and perhaps a couple of others will join Holden, Nissan, and Mercedes. Chrysler is a good bet considering they already provide the safety and medical cars. I love the V8 Supercar series.
The Falcon going out of production doesn't prevent Ford to set the Mondeo to replace it in the V8 Supercar.
