P4 is still the gold standard. All of the workstations at our office are P4 machines. Stable and able to do anything we need. Only the geeks among us keep up with the processor race. Although I did build myself an AMD Phenom II X4 machine recently... EDIT: Correction. Some of our office machines are Athlon 64 X2 machines. Only a few the newest ones.
I have a couple of Pll's out in the shed. Never got around to throwing them away. Also have a TI 99 4A computer. You load the programs from a cassette recorder or a cartridge. Bought it brand new when they first came out. I think the original box got singed a little but when my garage caught on fire a couple of years ago, but I don't think I threw it away. I will look for it tomorrow. I also have a Realistic 4 channel SQ Matrix amp and matching Realistic receiver, bought in about 1974 or so. I think I still have my original "PONG" video game that you hooked up to the tv. Texas Jim
yeah, my Pioneer SX-3900 was rated at 120W/ch RMS... no clue what the peak was, put I chose to put speakers with 300W peak capability on it.....LOL
LOL, reminds me of when I was in middle school. Our neighbors were an Air Force family, the dad was an officer and I was friends with the 2 boys, 1 was in my class and the younger was 2 grades below. Their dad was a computer geek and they had just gotten a PC with a Pentium 3 IIRC, we joked about a pentium 9 only being a few years away lol. Good times. The mom was a milf with huge cans and a southern accent. We always played lords of the realm 2 and Golden Eye on N64. Damn that was fun, having sleep overs and sneaking out a few brews from the old mans fridge. It tasted so horrible back then lol. A neighbor in high school had the hook up for cigarettes that we gladly paid a dollar for each whenever we saw him lmao.
Yup, got one of those in the garage too...wifey thinks it's junk and needs to be tossed out...what does she know, right???
I dont have any of my old stuff any more...I must of thrown it out when I moved out of my parents house...
I have a FM CB Radio... I will have to look at it when I get home to tell you all the specifics when I get home!
