turn signal/high beam problem

When i turn my turn right turn signal on my high beams come on like if i would normally with the switch, including the light on the dash.

Is it the switch/stick assembly in the cab or is a relay under the hood?

 

Does your cruise control shut off when it happens? Just the right turn signal?

In the meantime, check the grounds on the turn signals and headlights.

 

That's a common problem on GMs when the multifunction stalk goes bad. I've replaced mine twice now.

 

No everything else works

And its sometimes the left but its really rare

 

That is what I initially thought, but always safe to start with the basics.

Its probably the multifunction turn switch, like the squirrel stated. Besides the light issue, erratic wipers is another problem.

 

Erratic wipers is usually the control module on the wiper motor.

 

I think ill switch the relays from my moms tahoe and see if her car starts to do it

 

That makes no sense. It's like saying you're having a problem stopping and one guy says check the pads, another says check the master and you decide to swap out the brake light bulbs and see if it happens on the other vehicle.
