I actually watched the last 35 laps of the race. A lot of respect can be given to Kyle Larson for holding back and letting the 78 and 18 go at it.

I'm not sure he "held back." I think he bumped the wall a couple of times and/or maybe used up his tires... Then again, he had gotten up there and gave Kyle a push. So, maybe that was his way of saying "get your ass up there or I'm going around you." :dunno:

Got the 18 just a little loose in doing so when he did it. The 42 was a rocket. :dunno:

If I remember correctly, the 42 fell back shortly after that. I think he had used up his stuff. Otherwise, the way he had run the rest of the day, I think he would've stayed closer in case one or the other screwed up.

Yeah, when the 18 got loose, I was thinking "Wreck! Wreck! C'mon, Kyle! Wreck!!!" Followed up quickly by, "Damn it! C'mon, Truex! You can do it! Stay in front of him and don't let him get a bumper to you! He WILL dump your ass!"

I'm glad Truex won it. He had a stellar year. I thought Harvick was going to take him with that momentum he got after that restart, but then his car just went away.
Time to get off of here. Have a great day.

Good for him, he certainly deserved it after the season he had.

I was watching football at a friends house, we turned on the race for the end since both games were a blowout. Trying to explain the Championship system to someone who had no NASCAR experience was a reminder just how fwonked up it is :dunce:

NASCAR fits right in with the rest of the "PC" world.
