I keep my extension cord in the battery compartment with the charger and the battery and then just walk it to the front after I pull in my slip. Takes all of 10 seconds.
I have a trickle charger for four different pieces of equipment. I got 9 years out of a tractor battery using one. Prior to that, about 2 years is all one would last. They are worth the the investment
I use one on my truck battery and motorcycle batteries (in the winter; separate charger for each). My dad SHOULD use one on his van for the winter (the battery has gone dead the past 4yrs while sitting; battery is pretty much shot). I use Schumacher battery tenders and chargers. Farm and Fleet (I know, a regional store, but still) has them usually on sale for around $15-18.
Jeff my brother uses electric tickle battery chargers on his collection of vehicles he has. Let me add this his 75 Trans Am is just about to see the paint booth im excited im going to test out the 455.
Just to reiterate..yes I used one I got from wally world on my quad over the winters and it worked every time...so get one!
Yep. I have a few of them. I have a thread on here somewhere for the Battery Doc, it's a great little unit, too.
Thanks guys, I need to get one and throw it on my boat, I'm having an electrical issue with one of the batteries I need to square away
