Transfer Case Blues

Well found out today that the noise i hear will driving is the chain in my transfer case... Time to start saving for the 1800 case. FML

That sucks, My buddy got a used one from a local salvage yard for $400.

It's a very easy thing to replace but the transfer case is the expensive part. and im not sure what i want to do i mean if i replace it im not sure i want to go the junkyard route

Boneyard is a great source for a solid replacement. Find a sub 100K truck and you'll probably be set for another 60-80K for the cheap!
