Took this Chevy SSR for a spin....

Okay so its only a 1:4 scale SSR ......but still cool as hell!

It runs a 5.4Hp B&S with electric start. Has a one off fiberglass body, command start, a custom stereo that fits into "box" that contains battery,amps, 4 speakers, head unit and a 10"sub. Speaker pods and an iPod mount along with a "beverage" holder are in the works.

Its a pretty cool project that I'm hoping Ill get to be a part of. Have more pictures on wifeys phone but most are of components...so I can make my own!

Yeah Im 6'2"ish and I had to crink my neck to drive it, smashed my head pretty hard over the speed bumps....plenty of leg room though.

Depends on who's fat ass is in the seat Don't know what the top speed is as I didnt take it on the highway....but it went pretty good when my buddy took it for a rip.....had traffic coming to a standstill Its really weird to see it coming up behind you in the rearview.
