I need to change my oil.

The CEO light hasn't came on yet in mine. When it does, it usually means I have about 1K miles to go before it hits 5K. The light should be getting close to coming on. :dunno:

My wife's CR-V just threw the "Please change my oil light" Seems like hers goes a long time between changes, but she does a lot of highway driving.

My Miata doesn't have a light, nor does it rack up the miles so I usually change it once a year.

The Ram has asked for two changes in the year I owned it. First time was right after purchase. Bought all the stuff, pulled the dipstick and the oil looked so brand new I figured the dealer must have changed it and never reset the computer. So I just reset the light and drove it until it came back, don't recall how many miles it was.

Holy crap Nick I didn't mean to leave you hanging like that.

I switched to 0w30 because I like how it works in the Nissan.

It's not Amsoil but for a truck that sits a lot it's hard to justify the price.

Still changing oil around 5K. I'm still using Amsoil OE and a Wix filter. This pig of mine has over 272K on the clock and runs smooth and quiet. I have to add a quart after 3K, but hell, I don't think that's to bad considering the amount of miles on it.

Man, this place has really slowed!

My new truck takes the 0w20, which freaks me the hell out.

Nick probably saw that I did not renew my PC account for the first time in like...15 years, but I am thinking of going back to Amsoil now that I am using a 0W oil.

Wondering what issues, if any, people are finding with 0W20.

I may have to go fire up my GMT account and do some research

It looks like the weather is finally going to cooperate with me so I can change the oil in the truck. It sucks not having a garage. Nick convinced me to give the High Mileage oil a try, and after reading numerous pages of reviews, I'm anxious to put the stuff in my truck. I'll be changing it tomorrow. I've been using OE in it since I bought the truck in April of 2018. It purrs and still has plenty of power for having over 280K on the clock. It has been burning a quart between changes and a few of the reviews I read said that using the high mileage oil reduced their oil consumption. I'll give it a couple of changes and see how it does on this pig of mine. She's due for some plugs and wires as well.
