yea it does. i'm gonna inject my balljoints tomorrow with high quality grease to see if that stops the noise. i gota order new swaybar bushings, rotors and brakes tomorrow too
My friend has a similar lemon truck. Dodge 08 ram, 60,000 miles, 4.7 quad cab. 2wd with factory 20's, never seen dirt.
Had to replace all balljoints because they were completely worn, replaced rack and pinion, and did the rotors and pads while I was under there. The wheel bearings need changing bad too, they scream going down the road.
Well today he brought it to me, said it was making a horrible squeal when he turns the wheels side to side.
Got under it and couldn't pinpoint it, but while I was under there I noticed the rack and pinion leaking, the transmission cooler leaking, and a caliper hose dripping.
Went ahead and greased the hell out of the upper balljoints and bam, no more squeal. So that was an easy fix, but he's not happy with the truck.
Said he brought it to a dealership the other day to trade in on a diesel they had that he wanted.... They only wanted to give him $5,000 bucks lol.
It's too bad because it's a nice truck but it just eats parts for some reason.
