The Pettys don't seem to be too fond of Danica :stir:

Really, I don't think she's that bad, I just think she needed to spend a little more time in the Nationwide cars before running the cup. I could see her managing a win, probably the same way Montoya did- get good fuel mileage on a road course. IMHO, last year's Daytona 500 was a fluke.

She does great on the track when no one else is there. I'm curious to see how her qualifying goes this year with the new rules.

I was hoping he was telling Bill France how fucking stupid he is, not picking on poor Danica. :D

Actually, she doesn't. Aside from last season at the Daytona, she qualifies fairly poorly. First and 11th at Daytona, beyond that it's all mid 20's and below.

She sure doesn't have what it takes when they start mixing it up late in the race. She goes backwards every time... Seems to do ok when the field is moving along smoothly - even passes someone occasionally.

He's absolutely right. It has nothing to do with her being a woman, it has everything to do with her just not being that good. He's spot on that if she were a man, there wouldn't be word one written about her.

Her average finish is around 27... so 16 guys finished worse than she did...just saying...
