Well I have been working my a$$ off this labor day weekend. Got my 95-98 Tahoe bucket seats installed. Had to move my amp next to my sub. It wouldnt fit under the Tahoe power drivers seat. I went to pull a part today and got a center console out of a 2007 Tahoe. I got it installed when I got back home. I did have to repaint the console first. So the next thing will be a forward console with a floor shifter that will but up to the Tahoe console I just installed.20200907_174324.jpg 20200907_174437.jpg 20200907_174405.jpg

Sweet! Pretty much bolt right up?
Lol well, not without some custom bracket work, on the console. The seats were a brease. They were a direct bolt in, and even plugged into the OE plug under my 60-40 OE seats that were not power, but did have the power lumbar support. I was very pleased when I plugged the drivers seat in, and the power options work rite. The passengers seat is not power. I used my OE passengers seat bottom. This way, I can open the 3ed door, and tilt the top forward this releases the seat bottom, and lets it slide forward for rear seat access. My drivers side seat bottom was worn out. The foam was falling apart little by little. My big fat old but getting into and out of that truck for all of these years, took its toll. My 97 Silverado 3 door, is in near show room condition, or it is now anyway.

Well I made the next section of my console today. I still need to do a little trim work for a better fit. This is where the Chevelle shifter will go, but that going to be a while before its ready. The shifter will be like the one in the last pic.20200912_181802.jpg 20200912_181737.jpg 20200912_181808.jpg Screenshot_2020-08-29-21-02-17.png

It would seem like that shifter will be hard to reach in a truck. It'll look good, but unless you're "inspector gadget" you're going to be leaning over to reach it. :dunno:

The shifter will be tall enough where reaching it wont be a problem. Im going to raise the shifter base enough so that I can reach the shifter without an issue. I have seen a lot of trucks converted to a B&M floor shifter, so it wont be a streach to do the Chevelle shifter. Here is a pic of a floor shifter in a truck like mine.Screenshot_2020-08-15-22-25-28.png

Well I have been working on my console all weekend. I got the Chevelle shifter installed. It still may need a little tweaking, but its close to finish. And yes those are LED bowties at the bottom, as courtesy lights that come on, and go off with the dome lights .20200927_191050.jpg 20200927_191015.jpg 20200927_191122.jpg 20200927_191108.jpg 20200927_191203.jpg 20200927_191149.jpg
