STUPID Quote Notifications

It seems like someone has been playing with the plug-ins for this place again and those STUPID Quote Notifications have started appearing again.

Is there a way we users can turn that sh*t off?? I don't give a flying fWONk if someone quoted me. PM's? Sure, I'd like to see "3 notifications" or whatever for that type of thing. But, if someone quoted a post of mine, IDGAF!?

Sorry for the rant, but having that number up there serves NO F'N PURPOSE! I've gone through the User Control Panel and I didn't find anything relating to quote notifications. If it's there, please point me to it.

I DID figure out how to get the pop-ups to stop. But, I don't even see a use for the number being up there, so being able to turn that off too would be great.

I'll second the notion. I also get e-mail notifications of every damn quote made to me on this site.

Same here, so I turned off ALMOST ALL email notifications from this place. That seemed to eliminate them.
