Good Morning,

So I have an 06 silverado and after I replaced the MC and BB my front brakes were very sticky and burning and I could smell it the minute I got out of the truck. I then replaced the Calipers on both sides, the rotors, and brake pads. I noticed that after driving the brakes dont get as hot but I still think they are sticking a little still.. I have replaced the MC and BB as well as the front calipers and rotor and pads. Has anyone ran into this situation before and what was the fix. I have all new brake fluid running through it as well because I thought it might have been contaminated from the first service.

Welcome!

I've heard of the rubber brake lines failing internally, and acting like a check valve." I assume with the new calipers you checked that the slide pins were properly lubed?

Been a while since I has an 06 Chevy, even longer since I changed an MC. Is there adjustment on the actuator rod behind the MC?

^^^^^+1 on rubber brake lines possibly being the culprit. Have seen it several times. You've got new calipers but make sure the slide pins are properly lubricated too. Replace the lines and re-bleed the system.

Hallo,

Also, check for any kinked or pinched hard brake lines that could restrict fluid return, causing the sticking issue.
