460 would be fun but 3-5 mpg isnt fun at all. id rather build up a small block then a 460

this build has been sitting for the last 2 months. Im working 50 hour weeks and still cant even break even on bills. Im trying to get her running but its just very draining.

Well finally found a motor that was worth the effort to put in the truck.

and to everyones pleasure its a 460 7.5 the motor is running and comes complete, with the exception of the carb and headers. Its a really good price $200 and can hear it running then he is removing the car and headers.

So im gonna sink alittle money into it before putting it in, long tube headers and a decent carb. Maybe alittle more but not sure yet.

The 460 wasnt even an option but, now that I have a DD I really could careless what the mileage of the truck gets. So it should be a fun and peppy ride. Its gonna have a 4x4 C6. Since the truck will be sitting for alittle longer im trying to find a good deal on a set of rockwells. That way I can call the truck fiished.
