    ...even if they wear evenly. If they're mounted for a few years and you need to change one of them for some reason, like an involuntary loss of air pressure, the wheel can be rusted to the rotor making it a giant pain in the ass to get off...or so I've heard :uhoh:

    Thats when good mounting with a jack stand, and a drop kick from your leg come into game play.

    Sounds like a good plan. But what if you're many miles from your home and only have the shitty, wobbly as hell jack from the factory?

    That's when you loosen the lugs just a little bit and roll the vehicle a tiny bit to break it free. Those lugs will be fine.

    The tires on my truck are still in the exact location they were in when I put them on 5 years ago. 25,000 miles later they still look great. If that changes, I'll just buy new tires.

    Lots of "maintenance" items were dreamed up to make dealers money. I'm sure of it.

    I think I rotated the tires on my truck once in just under 40K.
