Is it possible to just my passenger side mirror glass? I cant fin the exact mirror I need at a reasonable price, so I am thinking of just getting a heated turn signal mirror, taking the glass out, and then popping it in my power folding heated, turn signal mirror...anybody?

How do you plan on taking the glass out of the donor? If you could without breaking it then I don't see why it wouldn't work.
Have you tried EBay?

On the GMT-900, I know the mirror glass is changeable, so I assume it would be on the 800's too.

Edit: I just did a quick google, and I do believe you can get just the glass, and it is like the 900's to replace, just tilt it all the way down, and then use something to pry up, and it should come out fairly easily, or if all else fails, just break it all out so you can get to the center clips that hold it on. Or one way my dad did it with the mirror off the truck, was to pop the back mirror housing off, and acess the clips that hold it on from the back side.

It might not be of any useful info to your situation, but on the GMT-400, you can pull just the glass and plastic behind it off, but I have not been able to get it back together. You have to line up 2 sticks with grooves on them (for the 2 motors) and get 2 tabs into holes (that keep the rest of the mirror in place). I just haven't been able to get the 2 in the motors because they are mounted on the plastic backing piece with ball-and-socket joints so they move with the slightest touch. Still haven't gotten it back together.

You could try it, but I don't know if you'd ever get it back together.

I know you can buy just the mirror itself. That way, you wouldn't have to pull off the plastic backing piece. I think AutoZone and O'Reilly have them. I'm pretty sure they are under $20. Mine would be like $10 for one mirror.
