If you brought it in, and paid to fix it the first time, and it didn't get fixed, isn't that their screw up? :wtf:

Especially after they said it was fixed

I've never drove any of those. Both companies I've worked for only have Chevy 1 tons. Just based on opinion, I'd say go for the Cummins

yeah but i don`t care anynore. its a lemon, my point has gotten through to the boss, it needs to be replaced. he told me the costs of keeping this truck on the road compared to other company vehicles is horrendous. the only way to spend less is spend a ton and get over it!

I have 2 5500s that I bought for my boys...replacing 2 F450s.

My 5500s are Sterlings which is Dodge with a cool grille.

The Cummins is sweet, and the Aisin 6 speed rocks!

I picked them over the Fords in a heartbeat without looking back.

Only prob with the 2010 ford is the urea injection, last thing i need on a service truck is to keep another tank full.
I need to do some more reading up on this.

Can the engine function with out the urea injection?
*edit* found some info. ...Depending on the make/model some engines will stop immediately , some will give you 20 starts before the engine is disabled.

I am sure someone is working on a tune to omit that crap.

This is a GOOD THING guys, don't be afraid of Urea. It doesn't use that much, and keeping that little tank full won't be a big deal.

Anyhow, the good part: ANY TIME YOU CAN REDUCE EGR FLOW INTO THE CYLINDER BY 40% OF '07 EMISSIONS, we in the diesel field call that a good thing.

Trust me.
