Question about Yukon grille emblem

Quick question! My girlfriend is wanting me to make her Yukon grille emblem pink (2002 Yukon). I tried finding a how-to thread or video but didn't have any luck, but I'm assuming it's fastened on from the back and I'll have to remove the entire grille, right? I'll probably be makin a build thread soon as I now have another vehicle to mod

If so I think you can remove the upper black plastic cover (under the hood) and reach in to loosen it. Some were held by quick nuts and some snapped in. I don't know which yours is.

That's it Jim. I figured it was pretty straight forward, but just wanted to make sure I didn't do more than I needed to. As far as the pink goes, it wasn't my idea Thanks!

Or you can get some pink vinyl wrap and an exacto knife and carefully trim the vinyl around the letters. That way you can easily peel it off once she decides she doesn't lime it anymore.
