Well after having my truck now for a few months I decided to get something for it. I told myself I wasn't going to do much to this truck, but we all know how that goes. Today I bought an Edge Juice with Attitude programmer. I got it relatively cheap off eBay. Really looking for fuel mileage as the diesel already has enough power for what I need, but it will be nice to have a scan tool also. Anyone have any experience with one of these? I can't wait to test it out!

Very good tuner! One of the more aggressive out there! Good score!

I traded some stuff for one and sold it to a friend. He had nothing but good things to say after installing it.

Well I installed the edge today, so far I have noticed a great increase in throttle response. I have it set on the economy tune right now which adds 60 horse. I will report back after the tank of fuel to see if there was any increase.

what diesel do you have? dodge i imagine as edge's are very popular with the stacking of programmers..

anyway, long story short, an edge like your toasted 2 injectors on my buddys truck when it decided that it was going to have a "voltage crisis" he fixed the truck and went smarty. edge is a good tuner but they don't let any aftermarket tuners use their programming (maybe PHP) and they do not tune the trans and that is the kiss of death. more power needs more line pressure and other things and that is when transmissions fail..

EFI Live is the new GM/Dodge hottness.

    good luck.

I have an 03' f250 with the 6.0. I have been reading about the tranny problems. I am only running it on the economy tune.

ok well same applies.. they are fun programmers but they can breack stuff fast.. dont be afraid of a higher tune. the 5r110 in a stout trans (i put 530 RWHP through mine for a good 7 months ill it died) and that was me jacking line pressure up being a dumb ass. it is a fine line with electronic transmissions and you wont hurt it on a med tune just to see what it feels like. probably smart to keep it lower though..
