What are the pro n cons on the ps4 pro? Do I need special tv for the ps4 pro besides the HDMI hookup?

Unless you want to watch 4k movies, or play certain games, it's not really worth the money for most people.

I was told ps4 pro is more stable console compared ps4 slim and I was better off going with the pro.

For some games, it will stutter less in high load situations.... Like a crap ton of enemies on the screen. Diablo 3 is one of those. But it's not going to crash any more or less often.

So if I'm not using or planning on getting a 4k tv then it's pointless to get the ps4 pro then?

For the most part, no. Unless you play certain games.

If you're planning on upgrading the tv, get the pro, otherwise save some money.
