    As clean as the valve cover and rocker arms looked, you could tell that I use synthetic oil. It was a little dirty under the baffle where the orifice is located, but I sprayed damn near a whole can of CRC parts cleaner and degreaser on it, paying attention to get under that baffle the best I could. That stuff is pretty good. I put a fel-pro gasket on it and torqued it down to spec. I guess if this doesn't work I'll buy a new valve cover.
