I am building the cab now. The doors are off a 2013 model 386 Peterbilt. I chose them because they are flat, and not too tall. The cab will be insulated on the inside, then paneled over with something, aluminum, maybe even 1/4 finished plywood and stained. The skin is 16 gauge, roof will be the same. The door swings and lathes closed and opens perfectly. I bought new strikers on eBay.
The door frame has been drilled for 1/4 rivets, which will be installed after painting. The grab bar was made out of a bull bar for a jeep, trimmed and lengthened, 1 3/4 OD. It bolts on so I can install rivets under it.

I broke my right ankle and it put things on hold, here are some more pics.
Since it is going to be like a Mad Max rig, I built ‘lightning bolt cannons’ that will be on the roof.
One triple mount on driver and passenger side and a single big bore in the center.
I made the cannons from scratch and had the mount cut on a plasma machine.
The seat is a big rig air seat. I had to remove the lift mechanism as it was too tall.

Ankle is better, so back at it.
Here is the front truss/link mounts. Font cage is crazy as you can see, I wanted a never seen before look, and the hell with the weight.
