Hey guys, I'm new to the forum so I thought I'd introduce my truck first then tell you my idea
2004 ford f150 XLT/LARIAT(according to vin)
3v v8 white with brown trim

My idea is to cover the brown trim on my truck with plastidip to match the look I'm going for. I've heard nothing but good news about plastidips durability but I thought I'd make sure and get more opinions.

I plan on doing at least 4 coats on each side.

If you agree with my idea can I get some good ideas of how long I should wait in between coats til it's dry? I painted my emblems and I wasn't really sure how to base the length of time between drying of coats and I feel I may have not let the emblems dry before applying the next coat. Any help is much appreciated thank you!!

I did my bumpers back at the beginning of August, and they're still holding up perfectly (granted the truck's only been driven a couple thousand miles, but still).

The truck is back! by Dan Valanzola, on Flickr

When I did it is just followed the directions on the can, and it turned out great. For $6 a can you can't beat it, but Linex would be a much more permanent solution.
