Not sure, mine came with rear discs. I know if you want a rear end from a fullsize truck with rear discs on it already, you should try and find one from a 99-04 truck. 05 trucks went back to drums.

I already have discs in the rear, so it probably makes sense to keep them...

Apparently the 99+ trucks have the spring perches in a different place?

If that's the case... I might look for a 99+ rear end instead...

Other than the brakes and spring perches, though, the axles are exactly the same?

I can't remember for sure, but I think I remember reading that the perches are closer together on the new ones anyway...

I can always get new perches welded on if I have to
