    I loved the single cab but a friend had the mustang and offered me the mustang and $4,500 for the yota. I couldn't pass making that kind of profit. So bought this ext. cab for $2,700 and picked up a 289 and transmission out of a fairlane 500 today for $200 so ha to all. Imma make me a sleeper mustang :fingertime: and still made money

    Yea actually, I drove it to work friday and today. Actually runs good. No smoke, skipping or anything.

    Right on. I have built several 289s and old 302s. What trans did you get with it?

    Had a C4 3-speed automatic transmission with it.

    Are you going to run it? Not one of the most venerable in stock form, but they can be beefed. Hopefully, they still have some hot rod parts available for them. After scattering several, I had some pretty stout ones built many years ago.

    My GF dad actually raced Fairlanes for years and owned over 12 so he told me he had plenty of parts so I don't have to buy to many things thankfully with the 350 being built. :thumbs:
