maybe ghosting might take the focus off

 

I think it achieves that well, and yes moving the flash box helped with the menu problem and took a little busyness off the top of the site.

did you adjust it for just the screen shot or is that your normal resolution? I did the ghosting to 50%, and I think it helps..
