Depending on cost, I can see those that change their oil often even doing it sooner just due to the easy factor.

Pop hood, pull out oil container/filter, install new fresh oil container/filter, close hood. Done!

Changing oil is therapeutic. Its one of the only times you can have without the 'ol lady bugging you.
